Professional Standards, Membership Rules & Code of Conduct

One Trade. One Location. One Community.

1. Purpose of Trades Success Club

Trades Success Club exists to help trusted tradespeople build relationships, generate referrals, share expertise, and grow profitable businesses through professional networking.

2. Membership Criteria

Members must operate a legitimate business, hold appropriate insurance and qualifications, maintain a professional reputation, and uphold the standards of the club.

3. One Trade Per Location Policy

Only one member from each trade category may hold a membership position within a specific geographical area. Protected positions remain active only whilst the member remains in good standing.

4. Attendance & Participation Policy

Attendance is mandatory. Members are expected to attend every meeting, arrive on time, stay until the end, and actively participate. Three absences within six months triggers a membership review. Three consecutive absences may result in termination.

5. 90-Day Probation Period

New members must attend at least 80% of meetings during their first 90 days. Failure to do so may result in membership cancellation without refund.

6. Visitor Policy

Visitors may attend up to two meetings before applying. Visitors must not conflict with protected trade categories unless invited for a specific purpose.

7. Referral Standards

Referrals should be genuine, relevant, and given in good faith. Members should only recommend businesses they trust and believe will deliver excellent service.

8. Code of Ethics

Members agree to act honestly, professionally, and ethically, provide quality service, honour commitments, follow up referrals promptly, and protect the reputation of the club.

9. Member Conduct

Bullying, harassment, discrimination, abusive behaviour, gossip, or conduct that damages the club's reputation will not be tolerated.

10. No Hard Selling Policy

Members must not pressure others to buy products or services, spam fellow members, or use membership information for unsolicited marketing.

11. Confidentiality Policy

Business and personal information shared within meetings should be treated as confidential unless permission has been given to disclose it.

12. Social Media Policy

Members should conduct themselves professionally online and avoid any behaviour that could bring Trades Success Club into disrepute.

13. Membership Reviews

The Leadership Team may review membership based on attendance, engagement, professionalism, ethics, complaints, or business conduct.

14. Complaints Procedure

Concerns should first be raised privately. Unresolved matters may be escalated to the Leadership Team for investigation and resolution.

15. Suspension & Termination

Membership may be suspended or terminated for repeated non-attendance, unethical behaviour, reputational damage, or serious breaches of club policy.

16. Leadership Team Authority

The Leadership Team has final authority regarding membership decisions, classification disputes, and disciplinary matters.

17. Meeting Expectations

Members should prepare a concise introduction, actively participate, support fellow members, and contribute positively to discussions.

18. Membership Renewal

Renewal is subject to compliance with club policies, attendance standards, positive contribution, and professional conduct.

Trades Success Club Promise

Trades Success Club is not a membership you simply pay for. It is a community you actively participate in. Members who show up, contribute, and support others will gain the greatest value.
